Anthony Granato

Anthony Granato is a civil litigation trial lawyer. He is Board Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney. He received his law degree from Ohio Northern University in 1986, where he was the Research Editor of the Law Review.
His legal experience and training involve a wide variety of civil litigation, ranging from plaintiff and defense personal injury, workers’ safety litigation, medical patient safety suits, product liability, civil rights, commercial and insurance litigation. He has tried cases, including medical malpractice and construction accident cases, to jury verdict in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Further, he has briefed and argued matters before the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and lower Appellate Courts in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has been involved in many cases where clients recovered by verdict or settlement in excess of one million dollars. Mr. Granato has extensive experience in New Jersey construction site accident litigation where worker safety is the central issue.
In fact, he has written professionally in the area of worker safety. In Volume 21, Book Two of the Ohio Northern University Law Review, he authored “Architect Liability For Injuries to Workers – Is There A Duty To Design A Building That Is Safe To Construct?”. Mr. Granato also has a Master of Science degree in Organizational Dynamics from University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Granato’s education at University of Pennsylvania has provided him with a unique perspective on how corporations and insurance companies in particular think and operate, an important distinctive tool for a civil trial lawyer.
