Rosalind T. Kaplan practices
in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, in the
areas of complex personal injury law, including
medical malpractice, construction site accidents,
premises liability and products liability.
She was formerly a shareholder in the law firm
of Litvin, Blumberg, Matusow and Young, P.A.
Ms. Kaplan earned her B.A., cum laude, from
Brooklyn College, her M.A. degree from the
University of Maryland and J.D. degree from
Temple University School of Law where she was
an editor of the Temple Law Review. From 1977
to 1978, she was law clerk to the Honorable
J. Sydney Hoffman, Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
She has been adjunct faculty at Villanova Law
School since 1993, where she teaches civil
pretrial practice and frequently teaches for
the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. She
has also taught trial advocacy at Temple Law
School and teaches at Temple Law School’s
LLM in Trial Advocacy Program and the Academy
of Advocacy. Ms. Kaplan is on the Board of
Governors of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers
Association, where she has chaired the Education
Committee, frequently lectures and plans programs
for various continuing legal education courses.
